Hi, I'm Sydney Echum. I’m a sixteen-year-old high school student with a passion for helping animals, spreading kindness, and making a difference in the world, which is why I created this blog. In 2024 won the title of Miss Chimo 2024 and placed in the top four at Miss Teen Ontario Regional Canada. Now, I am proudly your Miss Teen Regional Canada 2025, after representing Moose Factory. I aim to grow my platform and continue my pageant journey to help animals. Growing up in Moose Factory Island Reserve, I witnessed the struggles of homeless dogs, which inspired me to raise awareness and advocate for animal rights through this blog.

My mission with Unleashing Change is to spread awareness about animal homelessness, advocating for animal rights, promote compassion towards all living beings, and work towards creating a more humane and sustainable world for animals. Join me in this journey to make a difference and give a voice to the voiceless.
